Arterial Catheter

• An indwelling arterial catheter allows for continuous blood pressure monitoring.
• The femoral artery is the second most common site for arterial cannulation. One advantage of  femoral artery cannulation is that the vessel is larger than the radial artery and has stronger pulsation.
